Polish text to speech
Polish consonant clusters break most text-to-speech models. Ours were trained on Polish speech, so listen to the samples below rather than taking our word for it.

What we tuned for this language
Consonant clusters
Four consonants in a row is ordinary Polish, not an edge case. A model that inserts a vowel to cope produces something no Polish speaker would say, which is why our Polish data is Polish.
Hard and soft consonants
The pairs that separate cz from ć and sz from ś are contrasts English does not have. They are distinct throughout our training data, so they stay distinct in the output.
Numbers with case endings
Polish numerals change form with what they count, so digits cannot simply be spelled out. Our normalizer expands them into Polish words before the voice sees them.
FAQ
Polish text to speech: common questions
How many Polish voices are available here?
This page plays 2 voices recorded natively in Polish. The same Kugel 3 model covers 26 languages, so a Polish voice can read an English product name inside a Polish sentence.
Does it stress words correctly?
Polish stress is regular enough to learn from data, and our Polish training material supplies it. Names and loanwords that break the pattern can be pinned in the pronunciation dictionary.
Is Polish audio processed inside the EU?
Yes. Generation runs on our own GPUs in Europe under a German company, and an on-premise deployment is available when data may not leave your building at all.
