No. KugelAudio does not use customer content to train or fine-tune models. This applies to input text, generated audio and voice references. The same rule applies to the subprocessors used to provide the hosted service and is documented in our AVV/DPA and controls.
KugelAudio GmbH is based in Berlin and operates under the GDPR. Our hosted speech processing runs in configured EU regions. Our AVV/DPA defines the Article 28 processing terms, we pass the relevant data-protection obligations to subprocessors, and we publish their purposes and processing regions in this Trust Center. Our documented controls include encryption in transit, restricted production access, EU-region processing, no training on customer content, and zero data retention for content data. Customers remain responsible for their own lawful basis, notices and instructions as controller.
Yes. Enterprise customers can run KugelAudio in their own infrastructure using the same SDK-facing service interface. In a self-hosted deployment, the customer controls the runtime environment, network and storage, so speech content does not need to pass through KugelAudio-hosted infrastructure. Availability, support boundaries and operational responsibilities are agreed for the specific deployment; contact our team to plan it.
